Here are the required numbers which are provided on the internal links of Student’s Placement Office, IIT Kanpur. The numbers are for Electrical Engineering and just to clarify the differences between different categories, Dual degree students are those who complete their B. Tech and M. Tech both from IITK. This takes them 5 years in total. M. Tech students complete only their post graduation in IITK which takes them 2 years.

These numbers are as accurate as you can get, and there’s just one thing you should know. All these packages aren’t for what are called core jobs. Most are non core and include sectors like Finance (very less though), Consulting, Analytics, Coding (yes, that’s non core for Electrical guys) and others.
